Wings of the Goddess- Spoiler Cutscenes
I’m the first to admit that I’m way behind on all the missions… Oreo, Red and I have just completed the WoTG story so far and let me tell you… the cutscenes have been pretty amazing!
I really do like them…The story line is pretty cool and I’m meeting a lot of new characters…
I won’t really spoil anything cause that would probably blow for those who haven’t caught up… (who am I kidding?? I’m the only one who hasnt caught up!)
Here are some Spoiler Screenshots that I’ve taken on my journeys;
Male Mithra- Thats pretty exciting.. Going to do the Windy Story Arc just so I can learn more about him.
These purple redmage dudes with black faces… No idea whats up with them and why they are killing all the Caitsiths.
The Caitsiths are adorable.
Random Jueno Guard who might play a bigger part in the future?
And of course theres Lilsette… She’s quirky and at first she has no idea whether the Caitsiths are good guys or bad guys.
But to be honest… I have no idea whether or not shes a good guy or a bad guy. I mean take a look at the picture below. The purple redmage dudes with the black faces report to this chick.
Who I think looks a lot like Ms Lilsette herself! I mean don’t take my word for it.
What if past Lilsette knows that she turns evil in the future so somehow she is trying to change time?
I’m a nerd.
Beside being wrapped up in cutscene after cutscene, I’ve also tried catching up on spells I neglected getting when they came out.
And camping random HNMs in the middle of the night with my LS.
And my ls still cracks me up

In and Out and all Around…
So I’ve been here and there and I’ve done crazy things and been crazy places… all in my head…
And even in game everything has changed… For me.
I logged in the other day… And Red’s back and thats been great but I was still lost out of my mind…
So we’re kinda just trying to get by…
Since hes been back, I’ve decided I’d like to finish up things I’d never finish otherwise… so I’ve taken to help him catch up on Wings of the Goddess missions..
and helping Ls mates, doing linkshell events …
or just being stupid…
So I’ve been around in a sense… although I’m going crazy and I’ve lost some friends but my true ones are still there in RL and in game and I know who they are… And I miss those that are gone but at least I know. Petes back and thats been awesome. No one can ever replace you and you know exactly who you are… So don’t go away. Cause u’re still in my head…

vs. Widescreen
Anyways, we’re about done with Nyzul. We got Kain’s final head piece.
We just need some hands and possibly some legs, if anyone is still interested.
We’re probably going to do some Salvage now. Thats very exciting.
I like the widescreen photos but I hate the way linkpearl and name fonts are stretched out.
It doesnt do that when I do it normal screen. Maybe its the way I set it up in REGEDIT.
OK I lied. I had HALP.I still prefer the smaller screen though then the full widescreen 24″.
When you have to turn your head back and forth to play FFXI, its a pain.
LOL.

A Crystalline Prophecy~ Spoiler Alert~ Cutscene/Screenshots
Since I really liked this intro cutscene I thought I would post some screenshots of how I interpreted it…
Its a really neat cutscene, except it doesnt explain much and its really long… Looks like the producers of LOST got in bed with the Square Enix programers…
The cutscene starts off as soon as you zone into Lower Jeuno.
All of sudden, theres this big ass light in the sky…. Its the crystal… remember the nameless crystal from the very very first FFXI cutscene? Well here it is again…
It appears bright as day in the middle of the sky for all to see.
And it doesnt take long before people notice it.
“Look! Its a bird.. No.. Its a plane…! No… its.. uh.. uh What the fuck is that?”
Even I take a moment out of my busy day to take a look at this oddity.
(Either me or the Galka is looking the wrong way…)
Across the lands, the bright light in the sky worries the leaders of the 3 major nations:
San d’Oria
The Elvaans do not lose their cool as they stare unsure into the sky.
(BTW that guy in the middle needs to update his armor… Its level 50 man)
Bastok
Ayame and Naji are not amused.
Windurst
Windurst seems to take the hardest hit of all…
For some reason the Star Sibyl herself freaks out so bad, she has an aneurysm and collapses to the floor.
And just like that… BOOM, the crystal in the sky explodes(implodes-whatever)
And all these tiny little crystal babies fall from the sky…
And people stand around with their arms open hoping(?) to catch them…
Voila~
We’re introduced to the latest new missions in the Square Enix vault.
Enter Creepy Mysterious Strange Boy~
^ who can teleport and stop time !
Stopped these 2 children right in their tracks !
But his stop time trick did not work on me and if there is a concrete reason why,
he’s not sharing. The only information this little booger tells me, is that I have been
chosen… AGAIN. and that I most likely will find out why if I choose to do what he says…
He introduces himself to me as Aldo…
And tells me that he will await me in Qufim.
Then he walks off and disappears into thin air… And everything goes back to normal.
So there you have it.
The 1st cutscene of A Crystalline Prophecy. Couple of Days late but here nonetheless.

New gear Augments… In case you were wondering
Recently, like yesterday, a few people from my server got their gear augmented “to the max”…
They completed all , what is it, 10? missions to get the final 3 body pieces as rewards..
The Paladin body piece… I like it.
Here are some screenshots of the gear… I have the magey type one, the pld one, and the rng one…with augments
You can judge for yourself.
Other than those augments up top, the other augments that I have seen have been pretty lame…
like random negative stats. Kain got his sandorian gloves augmented. It gave him +1 INT and -1 CHR.. and I think the lamest augment has to be a Nomad’s Mantle with +1 WIND ….. >_________________>

Anyways, these are the only people I have seen so far that have completed the Crystalline Prophecy. I’m sure there are plenty more…

Job Adjustments and Additions Part II (03/30/2009)
In this second half of the announcement on job adjustments and additions planned for the April version update, we present to you a delectable array of changes that are bound to change the way you buff and summon!

The new job ability “Composure” and a new line of En- type magic spells will be added.
- Composure
(Lv.50 Ability Delay: 5 min. Duration: 5 min.)
Increases accuracy and lengthens recast time.Enhancement
effects gained through white and black magic
you cast on yourself last longer.
- Notes
Activating Composure will impose a recast time penalty upon all magic, songs, and ninjutsu.
- En- Type Spells
Enfire II (Lv.58) / Enblizzard II (Lv.56) / Enaero II (Lv.54) / Enstone II (Lv.52) / Enthunder II (Lv.50) / Enwater II (Lv.60)
Adds elemental damage to your initial attacks
(subsequent blows by characters for whom multiple
attacks are possible do not receive this effect).
Each successive activation increases elemental
damage strength up to a predetermined limit. Reduces the target’s resistance against the associated element.
Example) Enfire II: Adds fire damage to your initial
attacks and reduces the target’s resistance against water.

Changes are scheduled for the following Blood Pact abilities:
- The effective range for Blood Pact: Ward area of effect enhancing
and healing abilities will be increased and become equivalent to that of white magic spells such as “Protectra.”
- Blood Pact: Ward “Hastega“
The Blood Pact: Ward ability “Hastega” will be adjusted to nullify the effects of Slow in the same manner as the white magic “Haste.”
- Blood Pact: Rage
Meteor Strike / Geocrush / Wind Blade / Grand Fall / Heavenly Strike / Thunderstorm
Both damage and TP-based damage dealt by the above abilities will be increased.

Been real busy in RL lately. Tryin to get a new car and a permanent job. Dont wanna be just a temp anymore.
But I’ve been getting back into Final Fantasy XI slowly again. I miss everyone loads and I like to just take it easy.
As before I might have been a little aprehensive to try new things, now I welcome a challenge

Diet (Personal)
Started up a new diet. I had been working out for about 2 months before I went on the cruise to kinda tone up a little…
Now I started a new eating regime and I think I might try a diet pill…I dont really consider myself overweight but sure there are things I dont like about myself…
I also have an appearance to maintain… for my work. I’m the first person everyone sees usually… So according to my recruiter…my appearance is an important part of my job… In other words.. They can always get someone better looking and all that…
I’m tryin to get back into FFXI.. Slowly. Its been almost a month that I havent played it full time.
My WhiteMage is still 10k to lvl 72
and I have neglected finishing up gearing up my Red Mage and Warrior.
Also I have neglected completing merits for my Warrior.
I wanted to start working on WoG storyline before the update but it looks like that will never happen.
I’ve been so tired lately but thats because I have been draining myself . I went from working out 3 times a week (that is normal for me)…to 5 times a week.
I suddenly have this obsession… This crazy obsession. I dont know what it is… Its like I have to be doing something.
I got a Gamecube recently… (like 9 years later) and been trying different games but I get bored with them really fast…
I feel like I’m getting old or something… like I lost all my sense of having fun…
Its just work work work and no play… But even my play is no fun anymore…
