Secret Santa
Today was Secret Santa gift exchange for the LS. The person i got for the exchange was Keirra. I wanted to get her a nice Arcane Flowerpot,
Which I would have gotten her, had there been any on the AH and it wasnt over 100k.
So i settled on getting her a Commode,
furniture for her mog house instead. She had mentioned something about rearranging so I thought any furniture would be good.
Tiikaa was my sercet santa and she got me some good gloves for my warrior.
Kainon wasnt in to the whole secret santa thing but Dalamar got him something anyways. i dont remember what it was but i think it was some gloves. We did the whole event at the Whitegate Hostel place. I had only been there once before and it was really nice. This time was even better cause people I actually liked were there. The whole Ls was there except for Duke, Deyos and Dexa.
Someone came to me asking for a suggestion on a present. Their person being a pld, the obvious choice was getting them some Cursed Cuisses. and telling them we’re doing a Kirin very soon. The +1 would be sweet but since it was just a xmas event, the regualr ones would do.
Turns out two ppl took my advice. Eldamar and Dexa are up for some Speedy Pants next.
Wow how dumb of me. I did get some more snapshots, but I dont remeber where I put them. Ill add them in later. For some reason my email isnt working to well.
Beginnings
So I’m glad we gotten a few things done today. Snoopy and Whiteruby got through the Kam’lanaut fight today and finished their CSs.
I’m glad we got the leaders back in the game and motivated. Seemed like things were dying there for awhile and when the anouncement was made about Matt leaving, bam motivation struck the LS and everyone just wanted to get things done.
Sky farming went extremely well this week. I’m impressed. We got a BB, a Mother Globe, a Faust and a Zipicana. Good job everyone. We had a lot of ppl show support and a lot of first timers come out as well. Thanks for showing appreciation and determination. It reminded me of something I can’t quite put my finger on… Oh yah!! American Idol in its prime.
It was my first time tanking Faust and I was a little intimidated but it turned out to be a a fun experience and I’m up for it again anytime. Faust is a weenee, something Mona would say.
American Idol turned into The Event Horizon today, something I have to get used to. Shouldn’t be a problem though. I guess we have a lot of organizing and reorganizing to do.
Our Einherjar run went as was expected. A lot of deathga and more deathga. We tried a bait and sleep strategy this time. But we need some more blms. I think we had three this run. Better then last weeks 0. Don’t know if we should be persistent in trying to do these but I don’t wanna just give up. We had a full alliance this time and it seemed as though we still needed more peeps. Except for the whole “its get harder with more ppl” thing, I don’t know. We had a good crowd come out and try to help this time.

A new outlook
Hello! So I decided that I should make a blog. I’ve used WordPress before on my website, Tronnic.com. It hasn’t been updated in a while so don’t give me grief. The reason I’ve decided I should make a blog is so that I can share my points of view of life or FFXI(fake life) with my LS friends. Pretty much so you can get to know me better, if you wanted to in the first place.
We’ve got a lot of new people in our LS and I guess I should take the time to introduce myself. Ingame I an known as Mischa. My main job would be 75Paladin. I am of Mithra race. I like to stay up till the wee hours of the morning just chatting on Vent. I currently have cooking lvled to 69.9 and working on alchemy and fishing as subs. I also garden a lot for fun and extra cash. If you talk with me ingame, I’m usually pretty nice and respectful, unless you show none. Then there will be clashing.
Another reason I’m starting this blog is because I wanted to let people know that I’m here as a friend and I’m just as real as you are. When I learned that Matt was moving servers I cried a little. I won’t deny it. I’m not ashamed. The first thing I did was sit down and take a deep breath. The way things were going in AI, it seemed no one would care about anything if Matt was MIA. I thought for sure American Idol was over. The song God by John Lennon comes to mind, “…and so dear friends friends you’ll just have to carry on. The dream is over.”
I had to make a decision. I talked to a few of my closer friends briefly and we were all upset together. We decided we would either all move together or all stay together. My first thought was “oh noes!, I can’t leave Diabolos!” then it turned into, “What do I have left here if Matt and my closest friends are gone? Yah I’ll go” then it slowly went back to “I can’t just abandon everyone and everything I ever worked for!!!” I hesitated like this for 2 weeks until I noticed AI take a change for the good, kinda out of nowhere. And then my good friend Monaluv suddenly fell back on the face of Vana’diel from being in Limbo, I had to stay! I couldn’t just leave him.
And tomorrow Matt leaves for good and AI is reborn. We’re changing our name obviously but to what I’m not quite sure.. Hedge likes EventHorizon. Yes like the movie. I like AnarchyIncorporated because it will allow us to not worry about our websites name, ai-ls.com. Orestes liked Oreo or Ass Inkers…. whatever the hell that is….. >_>
